Combine parts at the same verified closing layer
Two cavities that close at the same layer can share a pause event. Prepare a labeled tray with the exact quantity for each cavity. If a later edit moves one roof, rerun the schedule and verify the sliced preview again. A single early pause does not solve a cavity that has not yet formed enough support for its insert.
Record orientation on the real mating pair
Mark the intended up-facing pole before insertion. For a pair that should attract, the two faces that meet must be opposite poles. A model’s top face and its eventual mating face may not be the same. Test the assembled relationship physically while the magnets are still accessible; a text label cannot detect a reversed magnet.
Keep an assembly record
Save the report beside the slicer project with the part revision, hardware dimensions and tested printer profile. During each pause, verify the names and quantities before continuing. For sequential object printing, make a separate object-specific plan instead of applying a global layer schedule across repeated height resets.
